Parks and Recreation
From Mabel Davis District Park with nature trails, basketball courts and picnic facilities to the woodsy camping areas, paths and other amusements of McKinney Falls State Park there’s never a shortage of outdoor recreation in Southeast Austin.
The area is developing nearly 6 miles of trails connecting Roy Guerrero Colorado River Park to Mabel Davis District Park. Mabel Davis Park underwent a $6 million restoration recently and now includes an Olympic-sized swimming pool. There are also reasonably priced golf courses in the area open to both members and non-members.
Fun Urban Feel
The area offers diverse and affordable restaurants, good budget shopping and large grocery stores. It is a great place to call home in an exceptionally livable city.
